Bridal Showers, Bachelorette Parties, Rehearsal Dinners

Planning a themed bachelorette party is the perfect way to commemorate the last fling before the ring. For Melanieʼs bachelorette bash, Priscilla Erwin of Orangerie Events planned a girlsʼ night out centered around a guys' night out theme.

Planning a rustic yet elegant engagement dinner with a romantic feel, Erin McLean with Erin McLean Events, wanted to create an intimate celebration.

In keeping with the southern theme of our bridal shower, Weddings Magazine and Erin McLean Events used the front porch of The Sutherland, a superbly restored southern mansion, located in Wake Forest as the setting for our event.

Whitney Sexton is a woman who loves to be pampered. She’s a junkie for makeup, the color pink and all things “girly.” So, a spa theme wedding shower was the perfect way for Whitney and her maids to both relax and celebrate.

When you work for a wedding magazine some of the area’s most breathtaking events come across your desk. So when Weddings Magazine publisher, Robyn Mangrum, learned that our very own art director, Stephanie Stephens was engaged she knew that she wanted to throw a very special wedding shower for her.

Going green is the hottest trend in wedding parties this year. Bride to be Amber Rogers, ready to celebrate in style, arrived at her eco-friendly bridal shower decked out in an organic cotton dress and recycled leather sandals.

When bride-to-be, Meghan Woodall, told her best buddies she was getting married, they began planning a devil inspired afternoon at Devil’s Ridge golf club in Holly Springs.

Samantha Dockery, owner of Bliss by Sam Weddings and Occasions, believes every bride should celebrate in style.

What bride wouldn’t want a glamour filled, star-studded last fling as a way to remember her days as a single gal? That is exactly what bride-to-be, Jamie Batey, was given before saying I do and Old Hollywood never looked so good!

What makes a great bridal shower? Delicious food, fabulous gifts and close friends and family to share this special time together. Arriving to her beach themed bridal shower with an entourage of family in an elegant white hummer limousine from A Touch of Class Limo, bride-to-be Dara Blakeley, was ready to party!

On a warm, Saturday afternoon seven ladies arrived at the home of Weddings Magazine Publisher, Robyn Mangrum, to celebrate the upcoming wedding of the magazine’s art director, Stephanie Stephens. The festivities began at half past noon on the lawn.

What could be more delightful for a bachelorette party than dressing in sexy lingerie for professional French boudoir photographs to thrill your partner while hanging out on location with your best girlfriends, dining on French cuisine and sipping champagne? Well, nothing!

While planning the bachelorette party at the Red Room we decided to use the Thursday night Salsa lessons as a springboard into our celebration.
