The Aisle: A Tradition That Works

Adding an aisle is another great way to create a focal point. It also subtly reinforces the visual flow of the event: you walking down the aisle. Fabric aisle runners can be tripping hazards, so unless you have your heart set on them, we don't recommend them for use outdoors. However, there are lots of alternatives.

Consider these:

  • Flower pots filled with potted plants
  • Pinwheels
  • Garden torches
  • White picket fencing
  • Carpet of rose petals
  • Oversized hurricanes with large candles
  • Topiaries or rented ficus trees
  • Swags of fabric attached to aisle chairs
