When you strip away the birdseed and limos, what do you HAVE to have? Well, here's the list. And here's how to get it.

- An Officiant - A minister works. A justice of the peace works as well. In most North Carolina counties they only perform civil ceremonies inside courthouse buildings. Do you need a minister? - A place - It can be a park. It can be city hall. It can be your own backyard. Many brides dream of a church wedding but aren't members of a local church. The Longview Center may be the perfect site. The former site of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, it was built in 1881 and boasts beautiful stained glass windows. It's within walking distance of many downtown Raleigh reception venues.
